No matter how heroic a hero may be, without a good villain, no one is going to fall in love with him or her. It is for this reason, and a million more, that Bowser is clearly the best character in all of the Mario games. Bowser has been the biggest enemy of Mario in dozens of games, and in Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars, Bowser has even been on the same side as Mario in the past. With a spiky back, a never ending yearning to capture and kidnap Princess Peach and a roar that can move mountains, no character can beat Bowser!

When Super Mario Galaxy 2 Wii comes out, you can be sure that Bowser will have a major role. Maybe he’ll be along side Mario once again to defeat the forces of evil, or he’ll take his usual role trying to best Mario for the umpteenth time. No matter where he ends up, I can’t wait to either use Bowser or fight against him for months on end until I beat this new game. There can be no denying that Bowser is the best enemy in video game history and the best member of all the Mario games.

Lots of people have been talking about the kind of things they want to see in the new Super Mario Galaxy 2 Wii game. Let me first say that the original Galaxy game? Pure genius. I loved how amazing it was and how 3D it was. We could take Mario through many different worlds and got the same feeling that we got from the original Mario games without having to sacrifice the way that the game looked. It was definitely a really fun game to play, but now that they’re talking about the new Galaxy game, I’m not sure if I’m going to like it or not.

There are lots of things I’d personally like to see in the next game, and one of the most important things is probably something that many people are going to think is silly. I want musical notes. Remember the musical notes that you got to use in Super Mario Bros. 3? Those notes that you’d jump on and would take you higher, and that, occasionally, an item would fall out of? Those notes were actually one of the most fun little additions to the Super Mario Bros. 3 game that I can think of, and I’ve actually been kind of disappointed that I haven’t seen them in many of the other Nintendo games that feature Mario in them.

Does this mean that I think that the designers will put the musical notes in Super Mario Galaxy 2 Wii? I doubt it. I mean, everything I’ve seen so far doesn’t make it look like they’re going to have any of the musical notes in this game. And while it may seem kind of silly to ask for musical notes, those notes actually helped you to get really far, and made it easy for you to be able to get higher in the game and to find little surprises. Yeah, I hope that they bring back the musical notes in the new game. Regardless of whether they do or not, I’ll definitely be buying it, because Mario games simply rock.

I’ve always been someone who has loved Mario games. What do I love about them the most? Probably the storyline. I’ll play the sports games and the Kart games, but I really love the adventure games the most. The only thing I like more about the sports games than then adventure games is that the sports games allow you to play multiplayer, which is something I’m all for and about and love to do with my friends.

When the whole guitar franchise thing came out, I was one of the ones who jumped right on it and who got more than one guitar so that she and her friends could play. The band games? Those are awesome! I love having friends over in order to play our own little band, and even though we aren’t very good, we have a blast playing. This is why I love Mario Kart, because my friends and I can play the game together, each of us having our own screen. I’ve played other adventure games that allow you to play multiplayer, so why won’t the Mario games allow you to play multiplayer?

The one big thing I’m hoping for with the new Galaxy game is that it will be a multiplayer game. I know that the New Super Mario Bros. game is going to have a great multiplayer option, and I’m definitely looking forward to getting it, but why can’t the new Galaxy game have a multiplayer option that’s like this as well? I know the last game allowed the second player to get all of the star bits, but that gets old really fast. I’d really rather have a second player be able to actually play instead of just collecting star bits. It would be so cool. That’s all I’m hoping for in the next game – for the Galaxy game, which has awesome 3D effects, to allow us to have more than one player on there. Even if it’s only in the multiplayer section – give us something, Nintendo guys, so that we can play multiplayer without friends, will ya?

The coolest thing about the Mario games is that they aren’t just games – they’re an entire universe! When you play the Mario games you get introduced to tons of new characters, and ones that are actually really fun to play and to be around in the game. I’m really hoping that the new Mario games that come out, like the new Super Mario Galaxy 2 game, has a bunch of the characters that I really love, like these:

Wario and Waluigi – who doesn’t want to see these guys? They’re absolutely hilarious. We never get enough of Wario and I really don’t see enough of Waluigi at all, we definitely need more of him.

Peach – last time we only saw Peach for a little bit in the beginning and the end. I’d really like to see more of her. What happened to ending every stage with “I’m sorry, but our princess is in another castle?” Let’s bring that back too please!

Chain Chomp – this is one secondary character that never gets enough screen time, in my opinion. Chain chomp is genius and I love seeing him pop up in some of the different games that feature Mario in the, especially when he’s there to try to get Mario and the rest of the gang.

Rosalina – this is the best addition to the Mario cast, thanks to the Galaxy game. I really like Rosalina and hope that she’s back, and better than ever, in the next Galaxy game. She really made the last game special – I’d love to see even more of her!

Other characters – why not see Kirby or Link? Why not see some of the other characters that have made the Nintendo franchise famous, like Donkey Kong! How fun would it be to see Donkey Kong in real 3D…he’d be intimidating as heck, don’t you think?

I just hope that the franchise makes Galaxy as good as they can, and that they have a good time making it, because you can always tell when they had fun making a game as it’s much more fun to play!

I was really excited when my son became infatuated with Mario games, because this was something I could definitely get into with him. He started playing Mario games about three years ago, and then we got the Wii and a whole new Mario world was opened up to both of us! When Galaxy came out we had a great time learning how to use the new controls and going through the worlds, rescuing the princess and helping out the newest character, Rosalie, who also happens to be my new favorite character, thanks to Mario Kart Wii.

I haven’t told my son yet about Super Mario Galaxy 2 Wii, only because I know how excited he’ll get for it and it will take a bit before it’s released yet. But from what I’ve seen, it will be right up both of our alleys. The graphics look to be the same, and maybe even a bit better, which is great for both of us, and the controls look to be similar. I do wish, however, that the second player control was different.

In the original version, you can only use the second player control to get tons of stars, and while this is sort of fun, it’s definitely not all that it could be. I would be much happier if you could actually play a second player through the game. Maybe it’s not possible because the graphics are so high and it takes so much work in order to make the game play, but it would be really amazing if you could play two players, or go head to head in some mini games. We love the mini games on other Mario games, like Mario Kart Wii, and I would love it if there were some mini games on Super Mario Galaxy 2 as well! Either way, I know that my son and I will both have a great time playing the games together – bonding and enjoying ourselves in a way that I’m worried will soon disappear. But hey, at least I know that we’ll always be able to play Mario games together!

There’s just something about Mario that is so enjoyable. Who would have thought, fifty years ago, that kids and adults alike would fall in love with a plumber? And yet fall in love I have. I’m a woman who loves her some serious Mario. I mean, I love other games too (who doesn’t love Link?) but Mario has been, and will likely always be, my favorite. I was actually a bit disappointed with the Galaxy game that came out, because while it was great to see Mario, the game didn’t seem to move fluidly. It seemed like there were lots of hiccups to the game and that I spent more time waiting for the system to respond than I did getting to play the actual game.

This, of course, could have been my Wii, which needed to be cleaned – and isn’t that a total pain? But even after it was cleaned, the game just didn’t seem to play that smoothly. I hope that this new Super Mario Galaxy 2 that I’ve heard about plays a bit more smoothly, as I really don’t care to have my play interrupted by jarring and waiting for the machine to catch up! I’m sure it will also have another update, because it seems like all of the newer Nintendo games have updates for this system.

One thing that I’m definitely looking forward to is being able to play Yoshi! Who doesn’t love Yoshi! This little dinosaur brings the most fun into any Mario game that he has ever been in, and I’m really looking forward to playing him. Hopefully the controls will be similar to the older Mario games with Yoshi in them, which run the same way that Mario runs. And I’ve also seen that players get to be a Bee again, which is great! I loved being able to fly with Mario and to control him! And the ghost suit? Pure genius – I hope that they bring back more of being able to be the ghost in Super Mario Galaxy 2 Wii, or that they bring in some new type of suit for Mario to be!

Super Mario Sunshine? Eh, it was all right. I mean, I love Mario games, don’t get me wrong, but Sunshine is rated by most of us fans as probably the least favorite Mario game there is. It was great to see Yoshi again, but the whole squirting thing got kind of annoying. And the village dudes? Really got on my nerves. When Galaxy came out everyone was hoping that it would be better than Sunshine, and, thankfully, it was. I remember sitting up for hours playing Galaxy and having to explain to my boss the next morning why I was so tired (I lied, of course).

When I heard that Super Mario Galaxy 2 was going to be coming out, and sooner than expected, I was ecstatic. I’ve already beaten the original one a few times and am now a bit bored of it (although who doesn’t love Rosalie?) so I was really glad that a new version was coming out. I have now seen some scenes from it and it looks a lot like the original one, which is good, and is bad.

Personally I have issues with the whole “rolling world” thing. It makes me a bit dizzy to use Mario that way, especially for the first ten minute of playing. I do get used to it, but anyone who comes into the room while I’m playing usually has a hard time adjusting to it. I wish they would have kept away from the rolling world thing. But it’s too late to change that now, right?

Maybe they’ll make things better this time, though, by making it a bit more difficult. It’s almost too easy to get through this first version just because you can use the star to get from world to world. And while I know there are stars there again, hopefully this time it’ll be a bit more challenging. Other than that (and the whole rolling world thing), I just hope that Super Mario Galaxy 2 Wii is as true to the Mario format and storylines as the last one was, as it’s just too much fun to play!

What do you get when you add Mario and the Wii? Pure amazingness! I’ve been in love with Super Mario Galaxy since it came out, and I just found out that Nintendo is going to make my wishes come true by giving the world Super Mario Galaxy 2 Wii! Seriously, if you’re any kind of Mario fan, you’ve got to love that!

The game looks amazing, and when you check it out the first thing to notice is that Yoshi is in the game. Yoshi is the best. He’s fun to play, he actually helps you along the game, and it looks like there are going to be special levels where only Yoshi can help you to get further. This is sort of reminiscent to Super Mario Sunshine, where you had to use Yoshi to get across the flying fish (didn’t I hate that part…), so that should make this game very interesting indeed. And it looks like we can also get differently colored Yoshis again, which is so much fun – and this time Yoshi can float or fly? How interesting!

I wonder, this time, what sort of trouble Peach has gotten herself into, and I’m seriously hoping that Roaslie is back. She was a great treat to find in the last game, and hopefully the designers have brought her back in Super Mario Galaxy 2, as she’s quickly become a favorite not only of mine, but of anyone who has played the original Galaxy game. Her voice, her look, and her powers are definitely too great to ignore.

But the whole “feed the dudes stars to get further” thing that was in the first one? That can go. I love playing the game, not trying to collect thousands of stars, so it would be nice if they either got rid of this, or made it optional and not a necessity, as it was last time. Anyway, I’m really looking forward to getting this game, the day it comes out, of course, and in plugging it into my system and wasting a few hours, or a few days, with my favorite plumber.

I’ve been a Mario fan for a very long time, and remember playing the older Mario games when my children were little. When the first Galaxy game came out I was actually a bit concerned! I don’t play our Wii that often and I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to control Mario the way that I could with the older game systems. But I didn’t need to worry – after playing the game for a bit I was able to get Mario doing what I wanted him to do without too much of a hassle.

Then I realized how great this game really was. It was taking Mario to the next level – I was able to play with the same old moves, without having to sacrifice graphics and response time from the machine. When I heard, then, that Super Mario Galaxy 2 Wii was going to be coming out soon, I was really excited. I’d get to play another Mario game with controls that I already knew how to use.

Unfortunately I’m not sure if I’m going to like it or not! The Super Mario Galaxy 2 Wii game looks exactly like the other Galaxy game did. The graphics look the same and even the suits, the Boo one and the bee one, look exactly the same. Why do I want to play a game that’s just like the last Mario game I played? Why would I want them to be absolutely the same?

I don’t want them to be the same. From what I’ve read, however, this Mario game is supposed to be more difficult. It’s supposed to please us older gamers who like to have the games a bit more challenging. I’m not sure if that’s really the case or not, but what I’m hoping happens is that the game is so much more than just the previews I’ve seen. I hope that it is more difficult and that the designers have hid some surprises along the way while we’re playing it, so that it doesn’t get too boring.

A few years ago my wife gave me a Mario game for my birthday. It had been a very long time since I had seen the little guy, and, to be honest, I really wasn’t looking forward to playing the game again. I remember liking Mario when I was younger but, at the time, I was really into shooter games so I played those more. To be nice, however, I plugged the game into the system and started to play. The minute that I did I realized how wrong I’d always been about Mario – he wasn’t boring, as I’d always taken him to be he was genius!

The games are easy to get through, but are, at the same time, challenging. By this I mean that it doesn’t take a genius to figure out which way you have to go in order to get to where you’re trying to go to, but, at the same time, it can be tricky trying to get him to jump up a wall at the right time, or to get the bad guy at the right time.

I went out and bought Galaxy to play and I got a huge shock – not only was Mario edgier, the graphics were way better than any Mario game I’d seen to date! I loved how I could really get into the 3D and how I was able to enjoy playing the game much more than I ever thought I’d be able to enjoy. Now that I know that the Super Mario Galaxy 2 game for Wii is coming out, I’m excited to play it not only for myself, but for my young son.
I hope that he’ll be able to see how much fun Mario can be, and my biggest hope for the Super Mario Galaxy 2 game is that it remains similar to the game that came out just a short time ago – the original Galaxy game. Keep the edge, keep the fun game style, and definitely keep the 3D. This will be something I want to pass down to the next generation!
