There can be no doubt that no other game franchise creates the buzz that the Mario games do. With Super Mario Galaxy 2 on the horizon, what can we expect from the next instalment of this amazing game? The truth is that only the higher ups at Nintendo know for sure, but as fans, we can hope for the appearance of several promising features.

The recent trailer at the E3 gaming conference had many people talking about this upcoming game. The same kind of original movement appears to be present in the sequel. It can be difficult to keep things like this fresh, especially since there have been so many games in this series as it is, but the creators at Nintendo are using the controllers that come with the Wii to create a style of gaming that just isn’t found with any other franchise.

Also, the E3 trailer appears to show a whole new group of enemies in this new game. Along with creating new styles of movement, it can be difficult to come up with new enemies, as well, especially since Mario has defeated all of the bad guys that have crossed his path in the past. Along with new movements and new enemies, there appears to be a whole new range of objects and weapons that our beloved main character gets to use, as well. From mushrooms to flowers to a Yoshii that looks better than ever, it is good to know that our hero will have some help along the way.

Many fans are wondering just how big this new game will be. It seems that with every new game, the universe that our hero is set to conquer is just too big to imagine. The name galaxy is well deserved here. It’ll take even the most accomplished gamer months to beat this new version. It is clear the Super Mario Galaxy 2 Wii edition is going to be one of the biggest games ever. Let’s hope Nintendo makes enough copies to go around since they still can’t seem to make enough systems for everyone.
