I myself am a man of few words. I don’t like talking unless there’s a reason for it, and I also happen to believe that it’s better to let your actions speak for you. That’s probably why I really enjoy Link. I can’t think of one time that we’ve ever heard Link speak – everyone else does all the talking for him! And yet, at the same time, while he doesn’t talk, he’s definitely one to make sure that his opinions are known by using his expressions or, if the case calls for it, his sword!
The Zelda games are actually great games, especially for children who are too old for the kiddie games, and who are too young for the older and often more scary games. These games have a great storyline, and one that’s usually not too scary for a younger child to play, while, at the same time, being a bit challenging. And it helps that you always get a hand along the way thanks to one type of character or another. I think that, all in all, Link is the best Nintendo character out there for a number of reasons, and while I’ll buy New Super Mario Bros Wii, I’ll probably play any Zelda game first!
