Super Mario Galaxy 2

I love the Mario franchise. I loved it when I was a kid and now that I’m an adult, and a parent, I love it even more. When I was little I would play Mario games – it was the first series of games that my father actually sat down to play with me. I loved that he spent time with me and I became immersed in the Mario world. I grew older and kind of lost Mario for a little while, as I was busy growing up, getting a job, raising a family, ect. Then my husband and I had a child and suddenly I was nostalgic for the past once again. I got a few Mario games cheaply and started playing them again and, rather quickly, remembered why I’d loved them in the first place!

The games are simply genius. With these games you don’t have to worry that you’re going to need to look up cheats or to spend days figuring out what you’re doing. It’s easy to figure out where you’re going, and it’s not difficult to know what you have to do. One of the things I’m looking forward to in the new Super Mario Galaxy 2 game is the fact that it’s going to be (hopefully) similar to the old Galaxy game but with a different storyline. I love the characters, and am totally obsessed with Rosalie, and I love the way that the game plays.

I am hoping, however, that the game is longer! I love how the games are fairly short, sometime, but I really want it to be longer. I want to be able to play the game for at least a few weeks before finishing it, and while replaying it is great, it’d be better if I were able to play it for a long time the first time instead of playing it for a short amount of time the first time. But I definitely hope that the Super Mario Galaxy 2 game for Wii isn’t the last time we’ll see Mario exploring the galaxy!
