Super Mario Galaxy 2

The last time I played Mario, he was saving the Galaxy. And now we hear that he’s going to be back in a Super Mario Galaxy 2 game? Great! There’s just one problem – why do we have to play just Mario? I love Mario, don’t get me wrong, but I really love the other characters. Here’s what I’d love to see in the games:

Peach: I’d love to see Peach in the next game just because she is really fun to play. I know I’m a guy, and I probably shouldn’t want to play a girl character on a game (except Lara Croft, because she’s simply amazing and really sexy), but Peach is always fun to play. I love how she could jump higher and especially how she could float a bit, making it easy to reach a higher spot.

Luigi: Luigi’s weird jump was always a bit strange, but it made it easy to get him from one point to another when it was a place you had to jump far. I was kind of annoyed, though, to see how helpless Luigi was in the last game. Mario was constantly saving him, which was really a let down.

Yoshi: Long live Yoshi! I was extremely excited to hear that the Super Mario Galaxy 2 game for Wii was going to have Yoshi in it. Yoshi is, in my opinion, one of the best characters in the series aside from Mario, and while playing Yoshi is a blast, it looks like it’s going to be even more fun this time simply because he can float! I’ve never seen a Yoshi float, and think that it is a really great idea.

I just hope that this Mario game is as good as the rest of them usually are, just because it’s a great way for me to escape from the mundane everyday world and to experience a bit of fun that isn’t violent and that has little challenges that keep me busy for quite awhile. Thanks Nintendo!
