There’s tons of things I love about being a gamer – the fact that you can escape from reality, or the fact that you can enjoy doing things that you’d never be able to enjoy in real life. There are also some things that I hate about being a gamer, and one of the biggest things that I hate about being a gamer is the fact that you fall in love with a character, or a game, and sometimes you only get one game with them before you never see them again.
Fortunately that isn’t the case with the Mario games, and you can play Mario over and over in lots of different forms, including playing him in soccer games, in brawl (the best fighting game ever, in my opinion), and even in tennis. But the classic Mario games are the best, and Galaxy was amazing. I was really excited to hear that they were going to make a Super Mario Galaxy 2 game, so that we can all enjoy Mario flying around the galaxy once again. The only problem, however, is that we have to wait so long for the game to come out!
Why can’t they make the game and keep it a secret from us for a long time? Why do they have to tell us a year or even longer ahead of time that they’re making a new game? I mean, it’s great that we can know ahead of time that we’ll get to see our favorite characters again, but it’s kind of difficult knowing that you have to wait so long to play them! It’s like when you’re a child waiting for Christmas – pure agony!
So while I’m excited about the Super Mario Galaxy 2 game for Wii game that’s going to be coming out, I’m also kind of upset. I wish Nintendo would keep their games secret for a bit longer. Aside from that, I’m sure that the game is going to be absolutely amazing and as much fun as the first game was!
